Marin Hotel, Heraklion (Crete)

During my stay, I dined in-house a couple of nights and found the food to be reasonably priced. While the menu was not extensive, everything we tried was very tasty. Breakfast was included, and although it could use a few more fresh options, I enjoyed the variety offered. The rooftop restaurant had an lovely view that made every meal special.

My room had a lovely balcony with seating that overlooked the waterfront area. It provided a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the serene views. Although the room was a bit small, it was comfortable and had all the essential features for a few days' stay, making it a great retreat after exploring the city.

The bathroom in my room was clean and functional. I appreciated the hot water and adequate space for my toiletries. The shower worked well, and I didn't encounter any issues during my stay. For a hotel of this size, having a properly maintained bathroom made for a pleasant experience.

The breakfast area had a great selection of food and amazing views. I particularly enjoyed the orange juice squeezer, which allowed me to enjoy fresh juice each morning. It was a nice way to start the day, although I think the setup could be improved with a bit more variety in fresh food options.
